I started as an accountant in Busselton in 1998, and now as an owner in my own business, I’ve worked alongside just about every type of business there is in the South West. And if there is one thing I’ve learned, it’s that every business owner is unique, which means I can’t wait to meet, and get to work with you.
Here’s how you know I’m up to the task. I have a double major in Accounting and Public Practice from Edith Cowan University, Bunbury. After further post graduate studies I am also a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA).
Since attaining CPA status, I wanted to offer my clients an Accountant who was more than just a numbers man, and someone who would help them achieve their business and personal goals. This began my involvement with 10X South West, a national business coaching organisation. This provides the opportunity to continue developing my skills far beyond the traditional accounting role and allow me to help clients businesses grow and develop. None of this prepared me for the toughest (but best!) job of all – being a Dad. My wife Anita and I have four children (2 boys + 2 girls) with the eldest two now attending Geographe Primary School.
After checking how to pronounce my surname, (which in case you were wondering sounds like Sis-soy-yev) most people I meet for the first time comment on my height. So no surprises, when there’s time outside of work and family commitments, I like to play basketball, volleyball and any other sport where long arms and legs come in handy.
